My Travel Story

Hello everyone, my name is Meagan, and I am thrilled to have you here!

I want to express my gratitude for your interest and support.
This video is a vulnerable one for me, but I am pushing through my anxiety and fears to pursue my passion.

I am excited to announce that I will be traveling to Bali, Indonesia to teach English to elementary school children. My official start date is August 19th, 2024.

This volunteer trip holds a special place in my heart, and I am beyond passionate about it.
I plan to obtain my TEFL certification after the trip, so I can continue to make a positive impact through teaching.

The trip will last for 12 weeks, and I am committed to documenting my journey. I will be sharing my journey through vlogs on my Instagram daily (@meaganmcknight_) and I would love for you to join me!
I understand that not everyone is able to volunteer, so I want to share this amazing experience with you.
I want to inspire others to volunteer and raise awareness for the need of children's education.

To make this trip possible, I will need to cover expenses such as housing, food, and transportation for 12 weeks through IVHQ (International Volunteer Headquarters) as well as round-trip flights, travel insurance, and visa fees.
