UPDATE:  As of 25 June I have saved just under $4000 on my own. Still need roughly $2000 to meet my goal, any help would be greatly appreciated. 

I have always loved to travel and been curious about how other people in the world live. My dream has always been to seek and explore Greece and Italy. I enjoy history and seeing where things have taken place. I was obsessed for a while with WWII and the effects it had on the people.

I have always done things on a budget  and I do not like to waste money.  I have a friend who will travel with me to help split the cost.  

She has a sister who lives in Utrecht, Netherlands, so we will be seeing her while there. I am currently looking into volunteering at the monkey sanctuary, Apenhaul. After that we plan to see some of the consentration camps throughout Germany. Then it's on to Greece to explore a few of the Islands and the historical areas of Athens. The last week or so we plan to explore Italy. Both historical areas and off the beaten path areas. I would greatly appreciate any financial help provided. I'm penny pinching to save but but feel I will fall short of what I need. I post all photos and experiences on Tictoc and Facebook. Thinking of doing a YouTube as well.
As far as expenses go, I like to keep things at a minimum. I typically pack lunch and snacks for while I am out exploring. 

Total cost for my trip is estimated at $6000 or so. Total transportation expenses is $1912 plus local transport and bike rental in Utrecht, not sure of that cost yet. Airbnb costs for the whole trip is $3191.50. The rest is food and local expenses like buses, city taxes, etc. I have broke it down further if your interested.
