My Travel Story

Greetings fellow humans!
I am a medical student living and studying in Milan, Italy, trying to make an impact by travelling, helping, learning from and understanding medical professionals in third world countries. Furthermore, I am planning on filming and documenting my trip, internship and overall human experience in detail, in order to help fellow travellers understand the technicalities of travel in rural Africa (specifically, in this case, Kenya and Tanzania), what to expect from the experience (both in the hospital and out), how to adequately prepare for it and how to make the most out of it, both professionally and in terms of empathy and human connection. Of course, the fees are quite costly and without your help it would be very difficult for me to do all of this and to pursue my vision. I believe that with your help I will contribute to the community of both medical students and volunteers with valuable information that may allow other people to pursue my same path affordably, thus increasing the aid that local hospitals in Kenya and Tanzania will receive in the medium-to-long term.
