The Chico Wild Oaks have been working hard over the past six months to raise funds for this incredible opportunity, to train and play rugby throughout New Zealand. Along the way they will experience cultural tours and lessons, they will meet and socialize with other femal youth rugby programs.  We have several players who want to make this trip but are struggling to find the financial support. Every dollar they’ve raise goes directly to the players' trip expenses—this funding is for the players, not for coaches or chaperones. As one of only two girls' high school rugby teams north of Sacramento, our season relies on travel to play other teams, and this tour is no different—just a bit farther this time!
