My Travel Story

My boyfriend has been in the military for 5 years now and has only ever used his two 2 week vacations per year to visit his verbally abusive family. He just recently finished a 6 month tour abroad and immediately went back to work after coming home. One thing he talks about over and over again, however, is about how we're going to save as much as we can so we can go to Disneyland for a few days as a treat for working nonstop since he hasn't been in a decade now. I want to be able to provide that trip for him since he's been working so hard, but I'm a struggling college student and I don't have the money past my bills and tuition to pay for a trip. We did calculate the trip costs, however, and for the two of us to fly, get a hotel, pay for food and for park tickets, it will cost about $5,000. If anyone is able or willing to help us get to that amount, I'll be able to get him the most amazing Christmas gift ever this year.
