My Travel Story

Throughout my whole life my dad has done so much for my family and me. He's paid for me to go to college, helped me buy a house, and also helped with many other things. My dad loves to travel and go on vacation. Back in March he found out he has squamous cell carcinoma at the base of his tongue. He is currently undergoing 6 weeks of daily radiation and weekly chemo to treat the cancer. The doctors are quite optimistic about this treatment completely getting rid of the cancer, however this situation is not without its complications. My dad has to take a lot of time off of work in order to do these treatments, and he has already taken a major pay cut due to COVID. I am still in school so I don't have a lot of money, but I really want to do something nice for him because he deserves it more than anyone I know. He has been talking about going to Universal Studios for years, but has never gotten a chance to go. That is what this money would help with: sending him, my mom, my brother and myself to universal Orlando after he completes his treatment this summer. Thank you so much!
