My Travel Story

Update (08/13/2023): due to changes in local regulations regarding international medical professional's ability to practice in the region, I will no longer be participating in the India-Delhi medical outreach program through IVHQ. In an effort to contribute the most impactful and beneficial care, I will now be working with African Impact at their Kenya based program- primarily in a maternal obstetrics hospital, as well as community based HIV/AIDS programs, home health visits, and education efforts. 

This fall, I have the incredible opportunity to volunteer my nursing services in under-staffed hospitals, community health clinics, and adult education classes in Limuru, Kenya for 5 weeks. This program will allow for me to experience cultural enrichment as well as professional and personal education, experience, and growth. I am so excited.
