My Travel Story

My name is Angela, a Kenyan citizen by birth. I developed a passion for nursing when my mother got a stroke in 2019 and I was her caregiver in hospital. Mind you Government hospitals around here leave much to be desired, but seeing the strongest person in my life go through such a difficult time, made me feel pretty powerless.My goal was heightened when my brother got knocked by a motorbike beginning of last year while he was just walking on the side walk. Getting education in this field will help me assist so many brothers, sisters, mothers, babies out there and fulfill my purpose in life. Getting education in Kenya has become a bit ofa challenge for me because I have been unemployed for the past three years, getting odd jobs here and there, hence spend my time caregiving to children at my mother's orphanage. The photos above are just but two of the babie I have had a hand in raising. I chose Seattle because after doing much research, I found an inexpensive school to attend. I have made applications and they are very accomodating, but being an international student, I have to prove I can atleast pay fees to begin with. I am sure I can be able t get grants and sponsorships once I start, but I need assistance to begin, which is what I am requesting. Take a chance on me!
