My Travel Story

In my efforts to say THANK YOU for the opportunity to travel, I will donate 10% of my total earnings to the Wounded Warrior Project and to Hefer International.  I greatly appreciate all and any support that I receive.

          I am so excited to be embarking on my dream adventure!  I have planned and worked towards making this trip a reality since I was in high school.  I am so fortunate to have amazing support from my family and friends and that is why I am using this tool to raise money to help fund my trip.

            The cost of this trip is $13,900 excluding the cost of airfare, visas, and accommodations in England the night before the ship leaves.  I have applied for financial aid, scholarships and I have been awarded a work-study position while at sea and but I haven’t received notice that I have been awarded the scholarships.  Unfortunately, I do not qualify for grants.  My parents and extended family have contributed financially to my trip and I am hoping to use this tool as another way to raise the money.  All monies raised will go to my trip and education.

 
            I am in my junior year at a University studying psychology and look forward to experiencing the different cultures and the different ways that people live.  I am excited about journaling my experiences and collecting recipes from each of the countries that I visit so that I can recreate the smells and tastes that I experienced.  I am also really excited to meet new friends aboard the ship, from all over the country to share this experience with.
