My Travel Story

by: Matthew Gamache Start Date: Nov 24, 2015 - End Date: Mar 22, 2016
My high school journeys down to the Cayman Islands to study their exquisite coral reefs, marine life behaviors, the overall ecosystem, and the effects humans have on the ecosystem. I would love to continue this opportunity because I hope to gain a better understanding of the oceans before I head to college since I plan on studying Marine Biology. This experience is extremely expansive and very hands-on, so it is a little pricey. I endlessly appreciate any help you are able to donate.

Day 8: The Schoolmaster Snapper. This fish couldn't care less about anything. I have been one foot away from a Schoolmaster, and he didn't even flinch.

    Advent Day 7
I started an advent calendar on my Facebook page, but I forgot to upload it to here. So with that, here is Day 7.

Day 7: The highly contrasting Black Durgon. If you look where the top (dorsal) fin and bottom (anal) fin attach to the body, you can see a vibrant whiteish line. They are also not even black: Black Durgon are actually a dark green or dark blue.
