Hello!
My name is Marie and I've started a campaign to help my grandmother who needs help in Huntsville Alabama. 
She is currently living in Huntsville Alabama alone. When she first moved 5 years ago from California after retiring she was looking to have a better life and be able budget her money being that Alabama is a lot cheaper than California. Unfortunately things took an unexpected turn. My father had moved to Alabama a year after my grandmother which is his mother and purchased a home 2 blocks away from his mother. My father at the time was very sick on dialysis every other day. He was diabetic and over weight as well. My grandmother did everything she could to help him with his life and he passed away in December 2023 due to a blood disease called septic. My father had been in dialysis for 4 years and had a lot of medical bills and living expenses that my grandmother is now forced to take care of.  Being that I live in California I have no way to help financially. I am a single parent on disability living in low income housing in alameda county. My grandmother has done everything she can financially and does not have the funds to sell my fathers house and will also need help with selling and donating all of my father's belongings. She is 73 years old and retired. She is also widowed and has no one else to depend on but myself. If we could raise money for me to leave California is to go to Alabama for 3 months and help get the house together for the market would be life changing and helping my grandmother get out of debt. She is an amazing woman who handles everything and did not deserve to be put in this position after she just retired 5 years ago. Anything helps even $1. Out goal is to sell the house by summer. We have repairs that need to be done before we can put the house on the market. If we could reach our goal of $5000 this would be perfect for travel repairs selling the house and medical bills.
