Help Me Escape Loss & Exploitation
My Travel Story
Like many Nigerian youths, I grew up in a country full of potential, but often lacking in opportunity. I’ve been trying to survive and earn an honest living, but time and time again I’ve found myself falling victim to scams and false promises—often from people who see my desperation as a chance to take advantage of me. Unfortunately, this is common in Africa.
I don’t want to give up.
My dream is simple: to become a licensed truck driver. My parents are very poor. After my father got into a tragic accident, things became much worse for my family, and I had to quit studying to support us. I don’t have any skills, but trucking is one of the few stable, respected ways to earn a living here. It would give me a real shot at financial independence, dignity, and the ability to support my family without fear of being exploited.
But I need help to make that dream real.
The funds I’m raising will go toward:
- Basic transportation and survival costs during driver’s training
- Traveling back and forth between my town and the school
If you believe in second chances and the power of honest work, please consider contributing or sharing this campaign. Every little bit brings me closer to freedom from exploitation, and toward building a real future.
With deepest gratitude,
Nwa
