My Travel Story

Traveling has always been an important part of my life. I had a pretty dysfunctional childhood so the few family vacations that I did get to go on were some of my happiest memories.I have instilled in my children over the years that material things come and go but MEMORIES last a lifetime. I feel everyone should take a family trip at least once a year to slow down, smell the roses, reconnect with each other and disconnect from daily distractions. This is why over the years I would allow my children to take turns bringing friends on vacations without them having to worry about funds. The only rule was that it had to be a friend that typically would not get the chance to go otherwise. We have helped multiple kids see the ocean for the first time, go to to Disney World, go on cruises, swim with dolphins, and hike the Smoky Mountains. My love for traveling and helping others has been passed down to my son, Tanner AKA "Wicked Stew". If you have not already subscribed to his YouTube channel, you should totally do so now! Tanner's passion for his videos and for inspiring others is an inspiration in itself. He works very hard and puts his heart and soul into his videos with the thought that if he even changes one life, it is all worth it! And let me tell you, he has changed many! Just take a minute and scroll though even a few comments on his videos and you will see exactly what I am talking about! So, last year, Tanner had a trip to Hawaii planned (a dream of his) when Covid came in like a wrecking ball and snatched it away from him! He has thankfully been able to reschedule the trip with unused flight credits but could use some help with other trip and video costs. He has no idea that I even made this fundraiser for him and he has been working his tail off trying to doordash to get enough funds meanwhile working on his next video. There are a lot of behind the scenes costs for these videos and all donations are GREATLY APPRECIATED!!  And I promise you, you will not be disappointed after you watch his videos!
