Volunteer trip South Africa!
My Travel Story
Instead of attending schoolies and all the riff raff to celebrate graduating year 12, I’ve decided to take my time and volunteer in South Africa for 3 weeks! During this time I will spend two weeks on a reserve and spend my days caring for rescued and/or injured animals, including elephants, lions, tigers, cheetahs, hyena, white lion and many more. I will assist staff with various projects that will improve the living conditions of all animals. For my final week I’ll travel to an orphanage and work with the local women prepare and feed 150+ children; and work with care takers to help teach children at an orphanage for disabled children. As great as this all may seem, it comes at a large cost including airfares and the volunteer trip itself. All donations will be put towards the volunteer trip, this helps with physical and financial aid for the organisation to help continue the worthwhile work they are doing.
