My Travel Story

This campaign is for my 25 year old son, Colton. He was born with LCA, the most severe form of retinitis pigmentosa. He recently lost all remaining sight. Colton has been a patient at Jules Stein (UCLA) since he was first diagnosed at age 4. He was recently accepted into a trial where he might be able to regain some sight! Colton goes up on July 18 to Portland, Oregon. Once there, a team of medical professionals will see if he is a candidate for the "Brilliance" trial. If so, Colton will be going to Portland semi-regularly. I guess our mission isn't too exciting... but for our family, the prospect of reversing my son's blindness is a dream come true.
