Hi everyone,

I’m Ronnie from San Francisco, USA, and I’m grateful to share that I’ve been given the opportunity to volunteer as a teacher in Kenya for four weeks. This journey is deeply meaningful to me because it reflects what I believe in most—serving with compassion, uplifting children, and strengthening communities through education.

In Kenya, I’ll be supporting students in underserved communities by assisting in the classroom and helping create a positive, encouraging learning environment. Many children face limited resources and difficult circumstances that can make learning even harder. I hope to offer steady encouragement and practical support—so students feel seen, supported, and inspired to grow with confidence and hope.

If you’d like to support this trip, any donation will help cover essential costs such as program fees, flights, and accommodations. Every contribution, no matter the amount, brings me one step closer to making a meaningful difference. Thank you so much for your support and for sharing this with others. ❤️

What to expect from volunteer teaching
As I get ready for my upcoming volunteer teaching trip to Kenya, I’ve been thinking about the students I’ll meet—kids who show up every day with big dreams, even when their classrooms don’t have the basics many of us take for granted.

In some communities, classrooms are crowded, supplies are limited, and teachers are doing their very best with what they have. Still, students come ready to learn. They share pencils, reuse worn notebooks, and stay curious—because education is their path forward.

I’m going to Kenya to support local teachers and help students build confidence in learning, especially through English practice, reading, and classroom activities. I also want to bring much-needed supplies to help create a better learning environment.
