My Travel Story

Hi everyone! This trip to Peru will, quite frankly, change my life and my future career as a nurse. During my trip through Arizona State University, I will be studying Transcultural Health in rural classrooms. I will also be serving the community through various projects such as helping build structures and working in rural and underserved clinics. Throughout my stay, I will be immersed in the Peruvian culture. This will allow me to learn about the difference in healthcare among different cultures, while learning about the Peruvian culture itself. This experience will give me vital cultural knowledge, which will make me the best nurse that I can be in my future career.
