Help me travel to Puerto Rico and meet my family!
My Travel Story
I recently found out that I am adopted and my biological family is from Puerto Rico! I've reached out to a cousin to let them know and they've agreed to let me be the one to tell the rest of the family who I am and what happened. From what I understand from the cousin I spoke to everyone is very nice and would be excited to meet me, but I still don't want to assume anything or be a burden. For that reason I'm asking for donations to cover travel costs, room, and food for two weeks. My birthday is also on January 1st, so this would be a great birthday present as well. As you can probably guess, my life has been less than ideal...to make a long story short, the family that adopted me wasn't exactly stellar (lots of SA, abuse, etc). I've never had the money to spend on myself so any donations towards this goal would be greatly appreciated.
