I am very excited to have the opportunity to travel to Nepal next winter to backpack and work on sustainable agriculture. This is so important to me because I have always wanted to travel and be immersed in different cultures. This will give me the opportunity to learn about the culture in Nepal and to help with a compelling project. 

I also have the opportunity to travel to Patagonia on a guided trip where I can learn the leadership skills needed to be an outdoor guide and leader. This would be so beneficial for me as I pursue a career in outdoor guiding and leadership. I also have the opportunity to be immersed in the culture of South America on this trip and learn and grow with others my age.
