My Travel Story

Today I am here to share with you a story that, although sad, I hope can resonate with each of you. Months ago, with a mixture of excitement and anticipation, we planned a trip with my 8-year-old daughter who, on behalf of her dead father's family, wanted to go to Toronto Canada to my in-laws since I am very bad financially and since death arose. My husband urgently needed financial support, which promised to be the experience of our lives. The previous days were full of hopes and expectations, imagining every detail of our destination, every adventure we would live and every unforgettable moment we would share since my daughter always wanted to meet her family from Canada. However, reality sometimes surprises us in unexpected ways. A set of circumstances such as my unemployment and lack of money forced us to cancel our plans. The disappointment was profound and the feeling of loss inevitable. We had imagined ourselves walking through streets full of history, enjoying spectacular landscapes and being financially well off. All of this, suddenly, was out of reach. This trip could not be, and with it many of the dreams that we had deposited in those days of rest and discovery vanished. We feel deep sadness for the missed opportunities and for the moments that will never come to be. Every photograph we saw, every travel guide we read, now seems like a painful reminder of what could have been. But in this sadness we also find a valuable lesson. It reminds us how fragile and precious life is, and how we should value every moment. Although this trip did not happen, we keep hope and determination in our hearts that, one day, we will be able to make those dreams come true. In the meantime, we treasure the little moments and learn to find joy in our daily lives. To all of you who have had to give up similar dreams, know that you are not alone in your pain. We share this experience and support each other, hoping that the future will bring us new opportunities to dream and travel. Thank you for listening and for sharing this feeling of loss and hope.
