My Travel Story

Hello and thank you for visiting my page! I will be leaving for a medical volunteer project in Guatemala in September, and hoping to find support through the online community. I am a licensed ARFF nationally and EMT in Washington, where I currently volunteer and serve the rural community in medical need through two different Fire Departments. There is a need for spanish speaking medical skills and I have picked this project to not only help me stay current on my skills, but to improve the medical Spanish needed for my community. 

There is a list on Amazon of medical supplies needed as well, I am happy to forward. I will be traveling with all donation to Angua. 

I believe my background in Ski patrol, Search and Rescue, Fire and EMS will be of assistance to the hospital in Antigua as well, as we both learn from each other.
