My Travel Story

Hello! My name is Lily Slayne and I am currently a freshman at the U of A, majoring in Veterinary Science. I am also part of U of A's VIDA Club. VIDA Club provides low-cost medical, dental, and veterinary services to Central American countries. This year, I have the fantastic opportunity to go to Guatemala and provide low-cost spays and neuters for the animals there. I have wanted to be a veterinarian my entire life, and this trip will tremendously help me reach that goal. I am very passionate about this trip and excited to be hands-on with the surgeries being completed there. This trip will also make a difference in Guatemala's community because we will be able to give care to animals in need. It would mean the world to me if you could donate to help me go to Guatemala.
