I am very excited about this opportunity to volunteer in Madagascar and rehabilitate sea turtles. Madagascar has one of the world's highest poverty rates; the majority of its inhabitants live in extreme poverty. Because of this, there aren't sufficient funds to care for wildlife. I chose to volunteer in Madagascar because I want to make a difference and support local conservation teams. I believe in the importance of taking care of our planet, and I am passionate about marine conservation and marine wildlife rehabilitation.
