My Travel Story

My name is Norman Petersen (40), thats my our Keaton Petersen (8) and that is my wife Felicia Petersen (39) - I won't speak about how and when we first met and when we got married but what I will speak about, is why I would like us to go on a away to one of the places I've mentioned.

Keaton our son had what is called a (plecental disruption) during his birth, and as the result he suffered a lack of oxygen to his brain which has left him with a brain condition called CEREBRAL PALSY, this condition effects motor functions, balance, speech and cognitive functions of his body, which means he cannot walk or talk or do anything for himself,  this means that my wife will be at home with him 24/7 daily whilst I am at work and when i get home tired, she will already be drained physically- we get on average 4 hours rest per evening...

We probably last recalled feeling happy and excited about life, the day we got married, but for a good portion of eight years, we have been drifting apart as a result of the challenging lifestyle that we have raising Keaton- we are not at the means financially to even send him to rehab which even further exacerbate the situation, We cannot get along, and this is why my wife is not on my facebook.

this trip is not just a mere get away, it will be like coming up for oxygen for the both of us.

i can only hope, if do go on this trip, that we may find "us" again.
