Hi –

I’m an actor from Chicago working hard to make a name for myself in film and television. This August, I’ve been invited to attend Televerse, a new, immersive TV festival presented by the Television Academy — the same organization behind the Emmys. Held August 14–16 in Los Angeles, Televerse is a major industry event offering direct access to Emmy-nominated showrunners, actors, casting directors, and reps from some of the biggest shows in the business.

This trip isn’t a vacation — it’s a career investment. As a Chicago-based actor trying to break further into the LA market, opportunities like this are rare. Televerse puts me in the room with decision-makers I wouldn’t otherwise meet. It’s a chance to grow visibility, build momentum, and form meaningful connections in an incredibly competitive industry.

Throughout the festival, I’ll be attending exclusive panels, acting masterclasses, behind-the-scenes demos, and professional development workshops — all designed to help working artists sharpen their craft and navigate the evolving world of television.

I’ve already secured my airfare. I’m asking for support to help cover:

4 nights of hotel near the convention center
Uber/Lyft to and from LAX
Daily transportation to and from the venue
