My Travel Story

This trip will have a positive impact on my education and career forever, as it gives me insightful knowledge and experience with helping others. I will help provide art and music therapy for these children that live in marginalized communities which are often overlooked by mainstream society, especially in a country like Jordan where there is a wide rift between social classes.  I look forward to helping the children gain confidence and follow their dreams, and to show them a path to better not just themselves, but also their own communites, and ready them for the future.
I am excited to participate in this project because it is occurring at at a stage in my life where I have the time to devote to this cause, and I would like to have this experience early on so I can better understand the world as I embark on my own life journey.
This is one of the few destinations that allowed me to participate at my age, while other destinations required that I be an adult.
