Hi. My name is Vinny Montero, son of Rene Montero. I am Filipino. My father works in the United States of America to help us survive poverty. He has been working there since 1990 (34 years). He is only given a month long vacation leave every two years, so we barely see him. Because of the Covid pandemic in 2020, we haven't seen each other since. It has been 4 years since I last saw him. We found out last March 2024 that he already passed away last February 18, 2024. We are so poor that we weren't even able to visit his funeral and burial. I only earn $4 per hour and even though I have 3 jobs, I cannot afford to buy the tickets. It has been 6 months and I can barely scratch $250 worth of savings. The roundtrip airplane tickets from the Philippines to the United States of America, for 4 (myself, my wife, my child, and my mom) costs about $8,000. This doesn't even include our hotel, food, or fare within the city. I am desperate to visit my father one last time and pay our love and respect to him. I am not looking for someone to fund our entire travel. $8,000 is too much let alone the other expenses. But even a dollar would be a big help. I hope you can help us out.
