My name is Asanka Ekanayaka, I have worked hard, using my old tipper truck to transport building materials. It’s not just a vehicle; it’s our only source of income.But in December, everything fell apart.
My truck broke down completely. The engine is damaged beyond repair, the engine block is cracked, and the gearbox and pinion also need fixing.Ihave missed lease payments on the truck.Had to borrow money just to put food on the table.My children needed school supplies, and I couldn't afford them.My father, who is blind, depends on me.The total repair cost is $15,000, which is more than I can afford right now.
