My Travel Story

As a graduate in Environmental Education Training and Development Practice I would like to embark on a journey to save our land from further damage .I am asking for donations for an Environmental awareness campaign initiative that will be launched in schools and communities in and around springs. This initiative will include  traveling to different schools and communities facilitating and making awareness of environmental issues we are having such as illegal dumping. I believe this will help people to understand the importance of our environment and how habits that we have adopted as normal are actually destroying our land. Lessons on how damaged our ozone layer will be done. I will teach solutions to every environmental issue we have in order to ensure that the future generations have land and survive regardless of the damage we have done to our environment.  Cleaning of dumping sites will take place as they have taken a lot of our land which can be used for agricultural purposes. I will also be planting more trees in schools and communities to make up for every tree that was cut as mature acre of trees can yearly provide oxygen for eighteen people. My community will benefit as illegal dumping impacts such as soil and water contamination and more will be avoided, problems such as deforestation will not be faced, environmental knowledge will be instilled into people which can be used by generations to come if passed. I am passionate about this project as it is going to better the lives of my community and it will ensure that no further damage is done to our land and my sole purpose is to protect the environment at all cost. I chose these  destinations because they are mostly affected by illegal dumping sites and other environmental issues. My destinations which are Slovo Park, Etwatwa, Daveyton, KwaThema Tsakane, Duduza, Welgedacht, Bakerton, Paynville and more will be visited during this initiative in order to educate and maintain environmental issues. This areas were chosen because they are near mines and waste management sites which mostly affect the environment and community at large. This is meaningful to me because I will be creating environmental change and conquer my goals. Please donate and save our environment. #SAVEOURENVIRONMENT
