My Travel Story

Hi everyone,
 
My name is Amy, I’m 15 years old and I live in South Africa. I’m writing this with a lot of excitement and a little nervousness, because it’s not easy to ask for help, but this means so much to me.
 
For a long time now, I’ve had a very special friend who lives in Germany. Even though we’ve never met in person, we’ve built a strong and meaningful relationship through messages, calls, and shared moments online. We’ve supported each other through so much, and now we finally have the chance to meet for the very first time.
 
One of the things that brought us even closer is our shared love for music. We both play guitar, and we've spent countless hours sending each other recordings, jamming over video calls, and dreaming about the day we could finally sit down and play together in person. Being able to share that moment playing music side by side would mean the world to us.
 
This trip would be a dream come true, but the cost of traveling from South Africa to Germany is more than my single mom and I can afford right now. That’s why I’m starting this campaign, to ask for your help in making this dream a reality.
 
Whether you can donate a little or simply share this with others, every bit of support gets me one step closer to hugging my dear friend for the first time and creating memories, and music that we’ve waited so long for.
