My Travel Story

I work long hours with children between the ages of 2 and 5 as a behavior technician. Being a teacher of sorts, I don't often get to vacation. In fact, I've only ever been to Alaska, which was beautiful, but was also funded by my ex's mother. I broke up with that boyfriend about a year ago after 16 years of being together. It was a pretty toxic relationship and ended due to him cheating and refusing to get help for his bipolar. I'm just starting to feel more like myself after years of his abuse. The thing is, I have a long time friend who is currently in a program to become an electrician. She's only 3 weeks away from taking here final exam. She is the closest person I have in my life and I barely see her due to her apprenticeship and all the schooling and studying she does. The rest of this year she plans on paying off debt but the following year she wants to travel abroad. I would love to come with her and experience other cultures but I could never afford it on my income. Any help with this would mean the world to me. I'm hoping my years of good karma pay off here. Thanks in advance for all who can help.
