My Travel Story

All my life I never really knew what I wanted to do career wise. I just knew I wanted to travel. 3 years ago I decided that I wanted to be a fashion designer. After using the sewing machine a few times i gave up on that. I could tell it wasn't for me. One thing i'd always been passionate about was writing. As a kid i'd always be writing fake news articles or a story. And that's when I knew I wanted to be a fashion journalist. I started studying at Fashion Retail Academy where we began to learn about sustainability. It never dawned on me how important it was for fashion to be sustainable but since then, it has become one of my biggest interests. Experience in ethical fashion in Athens would be amazing. Not only would I have the ability to meet so many people and have the opportunity to experience so many different things from culture to people, but I would also be able to have this as work experience. This would help me get into Uni and also my social skills in uni. My stepdad passed in 2021. He'd always tell me how much he wanted to see the world, so i take a polaroid of him everywhere i go. He was definitely one of my biggest supporters and i definitely would not have come to the conclusion of being a fashion journalist without him.  I have chosen Greece as i've had an obsession with the ruins since the age of 6, so I would love to be able to see the ruins but also help others at the same time.
