My Travel Story

I hope to achieve a degree in political science, with my concentration in political theory and international relations, and a minor in philosophy. With this degree I hope to then go to law school and pursue a J.D. in international law. This program would put credits towards my political science degree, while also giving me major experience and connections in the field of international law and politics. With the few  international law specific classes falling under international law, they already fall under my major. However the specifics of law at the international level does not come up that often in these classes, which is where my interest specifically lies. With this program, I hope to learn more about the law and policy involved in international relations, which I do not get as much in the undergraduate level classes here at Pitt. The connections and people I meet in this program would really help to solidify my goals and aspirations, as I would be surrounded by people who understand and have experience in my goals. Having this tailored and individual learning experience is important to my academic aspirations as it falls under my specific goals and learning objectives for my degree and target career.
