How will this impact your education or career?

Participating in the fundraising event in Bali, aimed at raising money for supplies at children's homes and providing essential services, will profoundly impact my education and career. It will enhance my understanding of community development, fundraising strategies, and nonprofit management. Engaging in such initiatives will also strengthen my skills in communication, teamwork, and leadership, which are crucial for my career aspirations in the nonprofit sector or social entrepreneurship.

How will you make a difference in the community?

By supporting children's homes through fundraising efforts, providing meals for locals, and donating time to animal sanctuaries in Bali, I aim to make a tangible difference in the community. These efforts will directly improve the lives of disadvantaged children by ensuring they have access to essential resources and a supportive environment. Additionally, contributing to local meals and animal sanctuaries promotes sustainable tourism practices and supports the well-being of both residents and wildlife in Bali.

Why are you passionate about this project?

I am passionate about this project because it allows me to combine my love for travel with a meaningful cause. Helping children's homes provides them with opportunities they might not otherwise have, which resonates deeply with my values of compassion and equity. Furthermore, supporting local communities and animal sanctuaries aligns with my commitment to responsible tourism and environmental conservation.

Why did you choose this destination?

Bali was chosen not only for its natural beauty and cultural richness but also because of the significant social issues it faces. The island's juxtaposition of tourism wealth and local poverty underscores the importance of initiatives that support sustainable development and community empowerment. Choosing Bali allows me to contribute directly to these efforts while experiencing its unique culture and landscapes.

What makes this meaningful for you?

This project is meaningful to me because it embodies the idea of making a positive impact through both direct action and community support. It provides an opportunity to witness firsthand the transformative power of collective effort and empathy. Being able to contribute to the well-being of children, locals, and animals in Bali enriches my travel experience with purpose and fulfillment, reinforcing my belief in the potential of individuals and communities to create positive change.
