Hi! Thank you for taking the time to look at my campaign! My name is Sapphyra and for the first time in my life I am moving abroad to fully embrace a new language and culture while also teaching them about my culture and how to speak English. 

I have already been accepted into the program and assigned a school for the upcoming school year. I am extremely excited for such an amazing opportunity. This program has high demand and I'm extremely grateful to have been accepted and placed. 

Embarking on this journey will help shape who I am, how I respond to unprecedented circumstances, and will open so many career paths I hadn't previously explored. 

This may sound silly but there was a Donnie Yen movie I watched a few years ago, he went to China to teach and connected with his students in a way many other teachers overlooked or were too tired to notice. That inspired me to look for experiences /  opportunities that would allow me to teach and connect with students. I may not have significant impact on every student, but even just one will be rewarding. 

Participating in this cultural exchange will be so rewarding and exciting, I'm ready to explore new cultures, update my view of the world, change the way I see life, and grow.
