My Travel Story

Ever since I was a child, I have been extremely passionate about nature. I am interested in studying abroad in Antarctica because it would give me the opportunity to research fantastic aspects of life through first-hand encounters. I have always been conscious of the serious nature of climate change and I am extremely interested in research and technology that could prevent or diminish climate change on a large scale. I am also interested in learning about the animals around Antarctica and their lifestyles, namely penguins. While in Antarctica, I will be able to study the effects of climate change with cutting-edge technology only available on the Frozen Continent. As part of my study abroad, I am required to write a research paper about something I studied during my time in Antarctica. I am extremely excited to learn about and research Antarctica and then share my findings with the world.
I understand that I am asking for a lot of money in this campaign, but I want to make it clear that I fully intend to work as hard as possible over the next year so that I can use my own income to fund my trip. I was encouraged to create this page for extra financial assistance, so I set my goal at a level that demonstrates the costs of my travel. I know that it is unlikely I will reach my goal through donations, but I wanted to keep that option available just in case I exceeded a smaller goal. As a reward for donating, I have gifts set up to deliver to my donors. I want to spread love, education, and positivity through my travels, and it is important to me that my donors feel appreciated.
I know that this is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I do not want to miss out on it. I fully intend to spend my time there wisely so that I can write a successful research paper. I would appreciate your support for my Antarctic journey so that I can have adequate funding to get to the site and have a fun educational experience.
