I am Kunst und Klartext - a visual artist from Germany. I work artistically on an international level and create colorful, conceptual modern artworks about other countries and cultures, as well as: paintings, installations and photographic series. You can see impressions of my previous artworks and projects via my website´s portfolio: https://www.kunstundklartext.de/portfolio/

Unfortunately, the art market has been a difficult place since Corona - as many galleries and project providers no longer have much resources and the artists often have to pay themselves to carry out projects. However, this is difficult because art sales are also lower at the moment. I have several requests for international projects, which I would love to be able to carry out, as they also have a great added value for the community. One of them is the following artistic project on the topic of climate change, which is being carried out in the Chilean Atacama Desert and scheduled to take place in 2025. It is the main reason for me to ask for funding here, besides also to be able to continue my artistic work in general.

Attention - anyone who donates a larger sum, from 1000€, can choose an Artwork for themselves, from my online shop in the size up to and including medium! Simply make a donation and send me a message with the title of your favourite work. The offer is only available while stocks last. https://www.kunstundklartext.de/shop/

The total cost of the project including travelling expenses is about 3000€, the additional 1000€ would enable me to pay my living expenses during this time. (Any donations over and above this amount would help me to realise other planned projects and progress with my artistic work in general. If the financing of the desert project is successful, I will present further projects here. Regardless of the donations, I am also open to requests from art collectors for my painting series, and am always happy to create commissioned artworks and customised designs for your home or office spaces!) Now I describe the project, I would be very grateful if I could realise it with your help. The project results, i.e. the knowledge of the desert dwellers, our artistic creative process and the resulting works of art will be shared at the end in an exhibition, but also online with all donors, you can then follow the project on Instagram via my feed: https://www.instagram.com/kunstundklartext/ or via the website of the the collaborational partner la Wayaka Current: https://www.lawayakacurrent.com/

Project Old knowledge, new treasures: The desert spirit as teacher.

In 2025, ( the dates will follow whenever i have the recources for planning) I am lucky enough to be working with the artist collective La Wayaka Current on the topic of climate change. The project will take the form of an art residency in the Atacama Desert in Chile, where we will also have the opportunity to learn from the indigenous people about their environment and culture. So it will be a cultural exchange, I can bring back to Europe what I have learnt abroad and combine my German way of working with the wisdom of the desert dwellers to create innovative artworks and find ideas/answers to the climatic situation. Together with the artist/curator team of La Wayaka Current we will learn from the desert people how they live and interact with nature. I will translate these insights into visual art, but also later publicise this cultural exchange so that anyone interested can learn about the project and the desert dwellers and their way of life. I will also organise information events in Germany later on, to share information about Chile, present the artworks created abroad and the project`s insights. My creative artistic process via this project will also be shared via social media. The special natural environment of the Atacama Desert, the extreme climatic conditions and the contact with the desert inhabitants will inspire us to new artistic perspectives, while providing a great opportunity to promote cultural, social and environmental exchange!!!

Thank you for your interest, time and donations! I am available for requests at any time. Katharina Eisenberg- Kunst und Klartext
