My brother and I moved to Washington State from West Virginia back in September 1st 2023. I was offered employment with a relocation package I didn't want to move across the US by myself so I offered my brother to come with me and I would cover the expense until my brother got to working. In the beginning of 2024 and I received a letter from the department of labor unions, the letter stated that at your current title and your current salary. Gibraltar Industries since your date of hire, have failed to pay you at the rate that is expected by the law here in Washington. So I take the letter in to work the next morning and presented to my boss who informed  the HR manager. I was called to her office to I speak with her regarding this matter.  She informed me that this was a misunderstanding and we will get this resolved. So a week goes by and I receive no word on this being resolved. So I contacted the labor union and told them this needs to be resolved immediately as I am being taken advantage of and I needed this to be taken care of immediately at this point it had been 4 weeks since I received the letter and at that point is when I found out they hired me and offered me a yearly salary that they knew was illegal. I didn't lSo I took all the information that. was given to me and went to a lawyer. 3 weeks ago I was fired. They said that I was let go due to budget cut back. Unfortunately I am trying to get back to my family. I haven't seen my family in almost two years. I was able buy  the greyhound tickets to get to WV. I am just in need of assistance with money for the 3 day trip back. I currently have no money  for this trip and I'm truly scared to make this trip with nothing. Thank you for any assistance givien
