My Travel Story

3 Ladies on the go!

Hello everyone!

We are three polish architecture students, keen on photography, film, design and travel. Right now we are finishing the 3rd year of architecture and we have one semester left for our bachelor degree. 
This August we are participating in a one-month-long summer architecture school ‘Tropical Architecture of Bali’. Due to the fact that it's really distant location (we are from Poland) we decided to spend more time in that area. We would like to discover other Indonesian nooks as well as the countries nearby. The research will help us collect materials for our bachelor thesis we have to prepare for our last semester (this fall 2018). Our main classes are about Balinese Landscape and Architecture,  Interior Design & Amenities, Bali Resort and Hospitality, Natural Materials & Green Design, STUDIO PROJECT. We hope that this experience will show us the differences between European and Asian architecture. Our goal is to experience and learn the most from the journey. 
Our team is a group of energetic, easy-going, open and organized people with some experience in the fields of writing (article publication) and photography. We also had the opportunity to gather architecture knowledge at the universities abroad (TU Delft in Holand and Universitat Politecnica de Valencia in Spain). We take an active part in many festivals and workshops connected with topics of architecture, photography and film such as Sundance Film Festival, Krakow Photomonth, Netia OFF Camera Film Festival or ICI Eindhoven Masterclass under the aegis of MVRDV.

We try to do as much as we can searching for opportunities to become better and better in what we love to do and to acquire experience. That's why we are planning to gather materials from the travel in the form of photos, videos and of course description of our experiences, feelings and observations from the point of view of architecture students. We want to share our experience from the journey with other people keen on architecture and put into practice what we have learned during our journey.

You can also expect some articles after our trip with gained experience, the point of our view on architecture in Southern Asia and surprises that always happen during traveling :)
