My Travel Story

Hello! My name is Bailey and I'm apart of a class planning to study abroad this May. We're partnered with a university in Turkiye and are learning about each others' cultures before traveling to Istanbul, Eskisehir, and Ankara. This semester we've spent time reading about Turkish culture and learning through literature such as graphic novels, folklore, and film. We have group projects with our fellows in Turkiye. This class is a wonderful example of how countries can work together to build a better understanding of the world and culture. This collaborative class is the first of its kind at our university and this is the first trip to Turkiye my university has underwent. We're hoping to build a connection between our countries to offer more study abroad opportunities like this in the future!
