Hi! I'm Arianna Reed and I'm planning my year abroad to Japan! Going to Japan has always been one of my biggest dreams since elementary. I finally have the opportunity to spread my wings and go on a Cultural Exchange through AFS intercultural programs. I've always been a very big geek at heart. At first, anime and comic books were the main reason I wanted to go to Japan. Naturally I went on to learn the language and true culture of Japan. I love to travel, this means so much to me because Japan has always been apart of my youth and I want to nature that interest. I think this will create a big change in my community.  Not a lot of teens my age get to go to a foreign country for a year in my area. That's only ever happened once or twice. However, I'm eager to share my experiences with others and encourage them to spend time abroad. This will also greatly impact the students' education. By learning new cultures and languages, they will have new critical thinking skills and become more open-minded. Please help by supporting my dreams in going to Japan! It will be greatly appreciated.
