My Travel Story

I’ve been given an incredible opportunity to spend a semester studying abroad in Barcelona, Spain -- and not just studying, but also working an internship abroad. This is a huge step for me, both personally and professionally, and I could really use your help getting there.

As a college student double majoring in Economics and Political Science, I’ve always dreamed of taking my learning beyond the classroom. Getting hands-on experience in Barcelona will teach me so much more than textbooks ever could, helping me appreciate other cultures, support my future career goals, and fully immerse myself in a language I’ve been persistently trying to learn.

Coming from a small town in northern Arizona, opportunities like this don’t come around often. I’ve worked hard to make it this far, juggling school, mental health challenges, and building toward a future where I can truly make a difference. This study abroad experience is more than just travel. It’s a life-changing chance to grow, learn, and give back.

The catch? It’s expensive. Between program fees, housing, flights, and day-to-day expenses, it’s more than I can afford alone. I’m applying for scholarships and saving every bit I can, but your support could be the difference between just dreaming about this and actually living it.
