Build Homes in Zambia! Honor Ancient Knowledge
My Travel Story
Hello! My name is Olivia, from Argentina.
I am very interested in sustainable agriculture, ancient ways of building homes and sustainable technologies for communities. In Decemebrr 2023 I will finish my Major Degree in Design, and plan to specialize in Urbanism and Design of Urban Cities and Rural Areas.
I have volunteered in Santiago del Estero and Chaco, two marginalized provincies in my country, building homes with ancient techniques: mud, adobe, wood, etc; but adding new technologies and innovations, so families can have safe and sustainable homes.
I am passionate about this project because I hope to bring this new approach into the Urbanisitic and Design 'working-worlds', honoring and giving it the importance it deserves. In a time where sustainability and enviormental-justice are a top priority, visibilizing more vulnerable communities and learning from them is very important, at least to me!
I hope you can donate! Thank you very much!
