Hello and thanks to every person who is taking the time to read a girl in critical trouble. I am a 18 years old cuban girl who has been growing in a regimen, a dictatorship goverment that never has allowed me to express, think and even eat freely. I do not know how works this kind of campaigns I just found it by recomendation and it is my last shot...
I need to get out of Cuba. I am being Chased by the police, I am being chased by the police. For those who don't know, in Cuba demonstrations were taking place throughout the country due to food shortages, freedom, inflation and countless other social problems. Demonstrating against the regime is totally illegal and is considered one of the most serious violations of the law that exist here.
I participated in several demonstrations but fortunately I returned home safe and sound. From there I met a group of people who taught me many things, their secret meetings at twelve in the morning drew up a perfect plan to end the regime, we changed the place every week so as not to be discovered. Among the most significant things we did was a small fundraiser to create a giant sign that said "Down with the dictatorship, SOS", in the center of the city of Camaguey where all pedestrians would see it, it was placed at dawn, The next morning it was already in pieces and the police were investigating the culprits.
You may think that perhaps we are simple rebels against communism, but in reality we are people in search of basic supplements, three meals a day, a decent toilet, electricity all day, a salary that gives us less to survive, we charge around 10 dollars a month and with inflation we spend 100 dollars a month per person. It's crazy. A decent life is what we are looking for, or were looking for... because two weeks ago, we planned our last operation, we were going to paint a building with revolutionary messages. We were discovered, and 8 of the group were arrested, the remaining 9 managed to escape. According to the information I have, one of the arrested group said extra things and they probably know our identities or not, I don't know. The next operation is to leave Cuba for the United States before they discover us, to be able to raise better money abroad and return.
I need around 10 thousand dollars for myself and another member who does not have the money, before we become political prisoners. It is my reason for living to ensure that my people have a dignified life and can be free of thought. This is my only hope, thank you very much for taking the time to read.
