My Travel Story

Hello!

This May I am planning to go on a Medical Internship to Thailand! This will impact my career in numerous ways. It will allow me to be exposed to international medicine and learn different tacticts and be aware of illnesses going on in other countries. I will give me a different view on not only medicine, but a broader spectrum of the world in general. Not only will it allow me to gain necessary experience, it will tremendously help me when applying to PA (physicians assistant) schools across the U.S to make me a stronger applicant. 

International medicine is something I am very passionate about and have been looking into for a few years now. To have this opportunity to work in Pediatrics internationally is a dream come true. As a doctor all I want is to be able to make an impact on kids lives in the world of medicine. I don't want kids to be afraid or felt uncared for when coming to the doctors office. I want them to feel welcomed and comforted. I want to make medicine personal, beacuse our health is so valuable and fragile that we need people that genuinely care about their patients lives and well being. I believe experiencing medicine in Thailand will really open up my eyes to the world and really push me to become the best PA I possibly can.

I have read so many amazing stories that have come from this trip and I cannot wait to get started raising money and be able to get on a plane this may and live out my dream for medicine.
