My Travel Story

Last year I had the privilege of traveling to the Carribbean to volunteer for animal shelters with my daughter. During this trip we were able to transport hundreds of dollars worth of supplies that are either unavailable or too expensive. Through generous donations from friends and family members, we were able to go above and beyond our hopes.
This year I am upping the ante by taking a solo volunteer trip to Peru to again help in animal shelters, an alpaca farm, and a therpeutic zoo for exotic animals. The animals in these facilities have been neglected, harmed, starved, and abandoned by their owners. My hope is to provide those wonderful people with extra help and relief so they can continue to help these animals in need. I also hope to bring necessary supplies along to donate as I did last year. 
My trip, although volunteer, is being funded by myself and the cost is going to be around $3000 for a week's volunteer trip. This includes travel, program fees, and food. Any help is greatly appreciated.
