Since I have only ever learned about the culture of my own family, I want to learn everyone else's and respect it. By doing this it will help when I graduate from college and go into the nursing field. Learning about everyone's cultures and experiences will help me better understand how to help make them comfortable and feel safe in the medical environment. I personally was not able to choose the destination, I went to a low working class public charter school, that wanted a better education for their students. My history teacher always go to give the less fortunate an opportunity to venture out into the world and learn what makes it so beautiful. This trip will not only be a once in a lifetime for me but it will help me get to connect with people who have such a beautiful culture. I can't wait to enjoy it.
