Mike DiMauro is Requesting Help to Get Funding to Complete His Mission to Deliver UberEats in All 50 States

Orlando, Florida- An RVer with autism from Orlando is requesting help to get to complete a mission that he started back in 2019.
Mike DiMauro, age 40, is an UberEats driver with autism that is trying to do deliveries in all 50 states. DiMauro has completed deliveries in 29 states plus DC.
DiMauro said that he has been on this mission since May 30, 2019, when he completed his first delivery from Sushi King in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. DiMauro said that he was stuck at a red light in New Jersey, and he went online on the UberEats app to see if it would work. A few minutes later, he had his pickup request and completed his first UberEats delivery outside the state of Florida. Since then, he has completed UberEats deliveries in 27 more states plus DC.
DiMauro said that his parents are planning a cross country road trip for the second half of 2024, and he would like to join them to complete the rest of the states that he needs. However, DiMauro is requesting to get a camper van or a similar van, such as a Ford Transit or Dodge Ram Compact van so that he can go cross country to complete the mission. He is also requesting funding so that he can complete his mission. DiMauro said by having his own camper/van to go cross country in, he could go to the places that his parents have not planned to go that he wanted to go to.
“This trip would be a once in a lifetime deal to complete this mission and to finish going to all 50 states which would be an excellent way to celebrate my 40thbirthday that I had celebrated in Washington DC in March” DiMauro said. “I would like to complete this while I am young and still able to do it and not be old and no longer be able to do it. You never know when your last day on earth would be and you must complete your dreams before then or you will regret it for the rest of your life,” DiMauro continued. DiMauro said that one of his cousins passed away suddenly in February 2022 and he wanted to make sure that he could enjoy life one day at a time.
DiMauro has been an RVer for all his life and belongs to the Pioneer Valley Chapter 8 of the North American Family Campers Association, who are the promoters of the yearly Springfield RV Camping & Outdoor Show in Massachusetts. DiMauro has also been involved with the Florida RV Supershow in Tampa.
DiMauro has been diagnosed with high functioning autism since 2006 at the age of 22. Before then, DiMauro had been struggling to know what he had mentally. Since his diagnosis, DiMauro has been a very powerful and active autism self-advocate, helping those in the autism community by sharing his story. He is a former Volunteer Advocacy Ambassador with Autism Speaks. He is currently an Advisory Board Member with Els for Autism.
DiMauro said that while he is on this trip, he would like to help people that are homeless and down on their luck. DiMauro said in the past that when he is unable to deliver food to the customer, that he would find someone that is down on their luck and give the order to them to enjoy the food. DiMauro gets a wonderful sense of pride to help the community by doing that and would like to continue with that in his mission.
DiMauro said that he feels confident and ready to do his mission, but for him to complete the mission, he needs the funding and the vehicle to do so.
