Public health has always been my passion, understanding how communities stay healthy, what resources they need, and how cultural differences shape people’s access to care. I’ve spent years learning about health systems here in the U.S., but now I have the incredible chance to study abroad and gain a global perspective that will help me make a real difference back home.
By studying in Spain, I’ll be able to see firsthand how another country approaches healthcare, prevention, and wellness. Learning about their public health strategies, from community programs to cultural attitudes toward health, will help me bring new, culturally aware ideas back to the U.S. This experience will shape the kind of health advocate and leader I hope to become.
