Hello everyone!
For 2 weeks commencing March 6th 2023, I'll be heading off to Chiang Rai and the Hill Tribe villages in Thailand to help with outdoor volunteering.
Volunteering overseas can be quite costly, and because of this I am asking for help to raise money for partial funding.
This allows local families to accomodate me while I am over there working.

Now- a little about where I am going and what I'm doing!
Chiang Rai is a city in the northernmost porvince of Thailand renowned for its beautiful mountain scenery, historic sites and its authentic Thai atmosphere.
While Thailand is considered a resonably well-developed country there is an enormous socio-economic disparity between the wealthy and the rest of the population.
The reason I am volunteering here in Thailand is to assist with improving conditions for those in low-income communities and contribute to local initiatives that help Thailand continue to develop and reduce inequalities.

In the second week of my trip I'll be heading to the hill tribe villages for a homestay where I'll be working on a construction project and living within the local community.

Some of my volunteering activities may include building drainage systems or water tanks, planting banana trees and harvesting rice, clearing farmland and gardens and even building bathrooms for the elderly, disabled and for special needs students witrhin schools.

I am so excited for this trip as it'll truly be a once in a lifetime opportunity and will give me an incredible insight to the world I live in by gaining amazing skills for the future.

Thanks for taking the time to read this, if you've got a little to spare I'll be incredibly grateful!
If you can't, thats okay, if you could please share to your preferred social media platform and spread the word, it would be so appreciated.

Thanks again,

Chelsea
